Mole Valley Farmers (MVF), one of the UK’s leading agricultural supply cooperatives, partnered with Journey Energy Solutions to deliver a full rollout of energy‑efficient LED lighting across its estate. Covering 52 retail sites, the Head Office, and two Animal Feed Mills, the programme represented one of the organisation’s most comprehensive energy‑efficiency initiatives to date.
The project aimed to reduce overall energy consumption and operating costs, lower MVF’s carbon footprint in support of its 2040 net‑zero ambitions. The goal was to significantly improve lighting quality across retail, office, and industrial settings – as well as deliver a long‑term, low‑maintenance lighting solution.
Journey Energy Solutions completed the full lighting transition across all targeted properties. Each lighting scheme was designed to enhance light quality, supporting both a better customer experience in stores and improved working environments in operational areas.
Installations were delivered over 12 months, planned with individual site managers to ensure minimal business impact. Work was scheduled around trading hours, operational workloads, and site‑specific requirements.
